A few smaller stations also broadcast from off the European coast in the 1970s -

• Radio Seagull (from the Radio Caroline ship MV Mi Amigo);
• Radio Delmare from the Aegir and Aegir II ;
•  Radio Mi Amigo 272 from the Magdelena.

Further afield, Radio Hauraki was still broadcasting from international waters off the coast of New Zealand until June 1970, before coming ashore after being granted a licence by the authorities.

Meanwhile from ‘somewhere in the Mediterranean’ the Voice of Peace was still broadcasting to audiences in Israel and the Middle East.
