The value of Caroline Cash Casino prizes awarded was huge in 1966/67 and would be equivalent to these figures today:-


£10 – (the amount added to the Jackpot for each incorrect answer) –  today = £168

£460 – (the smallest prize won during the competition) – today = £7,728

£4,070 – (the largest prize won during the competition) - today = £68,376

£34,980 – (the total prize money awarded during the competition) - today = £587,664


The cost to advertisers of Cash Casino sponsorship (based on figures quoted for a  proposed fourth flight (10th July-7th October 1967 which was not implemented because of the introduction of the Marine etc Broadcasting (Offences) Act) - £10,500 – would today be £176,400
