Caroline Club membership card and ‘Freedom Fighter’ sticker

‘Caroline Club’ booklet - published, but without the intended photos  - and no staples !

In 1968, after the two Radio Caroline ships had been towed away, putting both Caroline South and Caroline North off the air, DJ Spangles Muldoon (Chris Carey) attempted to launch the Caroline Club. Using the pseudonym Dave Kaye  he sent out membership cards, stickers and  (eventually) an information booklet to former listeners who responded to adverts in the music press. Delays in supplying the booklet were due to lack of finances so when it appeared it contained none of the planned photographs and the  booklet’s pages were  not stapled.
