Fredericia - MV Caroline


 24th May 1929 – Ordered


 18th July 1929 - Keel laid


 14th November 1929 - Launched


 14/15th March 1930 - sea trials


 15th May 1930 - Delivered to DSDF


 19th May 1930 until 7th April 1940 - In service on the Copenhagen-Fredericia-Middelfart-Kolding ferry route

 (between 1937-1939 and 1947-1950 each summer she made a trip from Copenhagen to Koge or Elisinore with members of DSDF Sports Club)


 16th May 1940 until 21st June 1940 - In service mainly on the Copenhagen-Fredericia-Kolding route


 24th May 1940 until 28th May 1940 - In service temporarily on the Copenhagen-Samso-Odense route


 23rd June 1940 until 3rd August 1940 - In service on the Copenhagen-Aarhus-Fredericia-Kolding route


 6th August 1940 until 21st September 1940 - In service on the Copenhagen-Fredericia-Kolding route


 24th September 1940 - In service mainly; Copenhagen-Fredericia-Vejle-Horsens


 29th June 1941 until 20th September 1941 - In service on the Copenhagen-Aarhus route


 20th September 1941 until 5th April 1943 - Laid up at Copenhagen


 5th April 1943 until 25th July 1943 - Brought back into service on the Copenhagen-Samso-Odense route


 25th July 1943 until 26th March 1944 - In service again  on the Copenhagen-Samso-Odense route.


 30th April 1944 until 2nd November 1944 - Laid up at Copenhagen


 2nd November 1944 until 15th February 1945 - In service on the Copenhagen-Fredericia-Kolding/Vejle/Horsens route.


 17th February 1945 until 14th December 1945 - In service on the Copenhagen-Aarhus-Aalborg route.


 1946 until 19th March 1959 - In service on the  Copenhagen-Fredericia-Kolding route.


 1953 - Occasionally proceeded to Vejle or Sonderborg


 29th May 1959 until 14th August 1963 - In service mainly during the summer season  on the Copenhagen-Samso-Odense route.


 1960 - In service on the  Copenhagen-Randers/Horsens-Vejle route.


 14th August 1963 Arrived at Copenhagen form Odense  and  laid up


 30th December 1963 - Sold to Cross Channel container Services Limited (Ronan O’Rahilly) Greenore harbour. (Price paid £20,000)


 8th January 1964 - Taken over by new owners who claimed to use her in service between the UK and Ireland and to have her renamed Iseult. However, she was transferred to Astrenic SA (Ronan O’Rahilly) Panama and renamed Caroline. Towed from Rotterdam to Greenore Harbour and converted into a broadcasting ship


 27th March 1964 - Anchored off the coast of Suffolk, England as a radio ship. Moved to  a position off Ramsey, Isle of Man in July 1964


 15th August 1967 - After British legislation prevented supplies being delivered to any radio ship from British ports MV Caroline  continued broadcasting supplied from The Netherlands and Ireland.


 3rd March 1968 Following a dispute with Wijsmuller and Co over non-payment of supply and tendering fees  the MV Caroline was towed to Amsterdam where she was laid up


 June 1972 - Auctioned to Frank Rijsdijk Holland NV, Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht for demolition (Price paid £3.117) (Demolition took eight years to complete)
